Wise Words:
“Monkey see, monkey do” - universal truth on social proof
This email gets into 3 formats you can use for your testimonials to build trust with your audience and drive sales.
Banish bad ads for good
Google AdSense's Auto ads lets you designate ad-free zones, giving you full control over your site’s layout and ensuring a seamless experience for your visitors. You decide what matters to your users and maintain your site's aesthetic. Google AdSense helps you balance earning with user experience, making it the better way to earn.
🔥Testimonial #1: The Wall of Impact
If you have a lot of testimonials, use The Wall of Impact and stack review on review of positive customer testimonials and experiences.
By stacking reviews, you show each customer testimonial in a concrete way.
Curated Example: Superhuman’s Wall of Love

Superhuman is an AI email app that shows overwhelming social proof of their customers.
They do this by showing the social media site the testimonial was posted (X, Facebook, LinkedIn) and information on each customer (name, image, job).
Important Note: DON’T fake your testimonials. I have (ashamedly) done this before and it ruins your trust as well as your own self-image.
Ask existing customers or your friends/network for testimonials if you are starting.
🔥Testimonial #2: The Problem/Goal Testimonial
The problem/goal testimonial shows a problem that gets solved or your customer making progress towards a goal.
This type of testimonial targets the viewers disbeliefs and provides compelling proof your business has worked for others.
Qualities of a Good Testimonials
Talks about the pain solved (the more relevant and descriptive, the better)
Uses specific numbers and data
Have pictures, names, descriptions
Curated Example: Growth Tools (Online Course)

The third testimonial is a great example of a solid problem/goal testimonial.
There is a clear image of Miles S. ( a real person) and his transformation from $100/hour to $6000/week.
He states his “before” problem and then “after” situation. It shows his transformation from making only $100/hr and worrying about his code to the positive result of increasing value and price.
🔥Testimonial #3: As Seen On Social Proof
Showing partnerships or “As Seen On” testimonials show legitimacy.
You can use businesses, celebrities, or other brands that you worked with in your “As Seen On” Section.
Using this social proof builds trust with your customers by associating your business to established and trusted companies.
Curated Example: Bailly

Bailly is a fragrance brand that uses other well-known brands within the fragrance/beauty niche.
They highlight recognized brands in their “As Seen On” section in their website.
Pro Tip: If you have worked with even one person from a big company, you can use their business for the “As Seen On” section.
For example, since I have readers from employees at big companies such as Paypal, I can say trusted by leaders at Paypal.
There is always a way to frame social proof to make it sound better.
Best,
Warren
