Wise Words:
“Looks do count. Help your customers shop with their eyes”
This email gets into the 3 tweaks you can make with your sales page to increase your conversion and sales.
#1 Never add .00s to your price
What looks more expensive?
$15 or $15.00
$15.00 looks more expensive because it adds two unnecessary zeroes to the end of the decimal.
So, don’t use $25.00 or even $24.99 because the extra numbers make your product look more expensive.
Curated Example:

Detectify compares two pricing plans and does uses numbers that don’t end in .00 or .99
Use integer numbers for your pricing that don’t have decimals - $15, $50, $299
#2 Use photos/videos of actual usage
Don’t just add a photo of the product. Clearly show what your product will look like in use.
Show the features and the benefits while using the product.
Curated Example:

Pura Vida Bracelets uses UGC photos from Instagram to demonstrate what the bracelet looks like “in action”
Pro tip: Show user-generated-content (UGC) in your sales page. This builds trust because real customers are using it.
#3 Emphasize the most important offer
Never overwhelm your customer with too many different prices, features, text etc.
Too many causes “analysis paralysis” where the customer is overthinking and it is hard to make a decision.
Curated Example:

Vercel has three plans for its app. It compares each option and clearly highlights the middle one tagging it as “popular” and using blue to add contrast.
Like always, keep the essentials and strip away everything else. Simple is always the best solution.
